I heard from people and read some magazines, they said the way to a man's heart is through food. The tastier the food you serve them the more they will love you. I dont know whether this is right or not, but it certainly not for me.
To me, the essential part of winning anybody's attention, not only your spouse, is by caring. The more you care, the better will the relationship be, but please take note, if it is too much, you could suffocate your spouse. Anyway, anything if given at the right dosage is medicinal if too much then you'll get overdose, and that is bad.
In today's world, caring is a luxury. People are busy with themselves, trying to get a little something materially for themselves that they tend to forget how important caring is. Even in games, I noticed that little attention were put to click like in the small box underneath each post. You know that it means a lot to people or to me.
So, start showing that you care especially to the one you love right now, and let them know that you care.
